Guests have full access to the entire space, which is located on Elmwood’s Main Street (population 700). The Community Center is located on the left and Bits & Pieces (a thrift store/antique store) on the right.

Guests will be given a 4-digit code to access the key that is located in key safes hanging on each door knob.

We are accessible by phone; and in most cases, can be present if desired.
The Neighborhood
Local amenities include a convenience store, community center with noon meals, library, one block to city park, three churches, MoPac Trail (suitable for walking, biking, hiking, horseback riding). Elmwood is home of great plains author Bess Streeter Aldrich. You are 20-30 minutes away from three state parks, Memorial Stadium (home of the Huskers), and many other Lincoln and Omaha attractions.
Getting Around
There is Main Street parking and parking with a car port in the back. This apartment is on 4th Street, which is also Highway 1.
House Rules
No smoking
Children are welcome. There is a small roll-a-way bed, but there is no crib or other baby “equipment.” If you inquire, we may be able to provide some items because we have grandchildren that age.
Sorry, no cats. Dogs should be well trained and toy size. Others must be pre-approved.
Events are permitted with pre-approval. Space is limited to 12 people for events.
