Cass County Historical Society is one of more than 2,000 museums across America to offer free admission to active military personnel and their families this summer in collaboration with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, and the Department of Defense.
Beginning May 31 and running until Labor Day, Blue Star Museums will offer free admission to active duty military, including Army, Navy, Air Force,Coast Guard, Marines, National Guard and Reserve members with up to five family members. The program provides families an opportunity to enjoy the nation’s cultural heritage and learn more about their new communities after a military move. In addition to exhibits telling the history of Cass County since 1854, Cass County Museum has a special exhibit about the history of the Historical Society which was founded 80 years ago.
Summer hours are Tuesday through Sunday 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. It is closed Mondays and major holidays.
